The A3230 Flight Controller is not programmable.

This is the flight controller for the EFlite Apprentice STS airplane. Any documentation will be found in the airplanes manual, and the wiring diagram is on page 30. Hello, thank you for your inquiry. That flight controller is used only in the Apprentice STS, the SPM4650C receiver is required with it. Yes, the NX7E would work with it.

Correct, this item is not a receiver, and will not connect to a Spektrum transmitter. It requires the 4650 serial receiver (SPM4650).
