The flight controller for the Habu STS does not have thrust reversing capability. Only Avian ESC's have this ability.
1 = ESC (PWM)
2 = Ailerons
3 = Elevator
4 = Rudder
5 = Nose wheel
6 = ESC (Telemetry)
7 = Open/Optional LAS
8 = Aux 2
This unit is a Flight Controller, it needs a separate receiver to function (SPMC).
This FC does have SAFE mode programmed already, suited specifically to the Habu STS EDF Jet.
The Habu STS Flight Controller requires the Spektrum 4650C receiver, it won't function with the standard receiver (AR620) that came with your DX6e.

Yes the Habu STS flight controller incorporates SAFE technology, however it is not optional like SAFE Select. Experienced mode (AS3X only) would be the equivalent of SAFE off.
